Drizly Hero.png

Drizly’s design team was struggling to keep up with the company’s rapid growth. My job was to support their work with a design system and redesign recipes to strengthen the brand’s value proposition and grow advertising revenue.

Design System

Goals

  1. Empower Drizly designers to focus on higher-impact problems and design faster
  2. Help Drizly developers build fast and consistently with corresponding React components
  3. Support a consistent UX and faster release of new features for Drizly customers

Auditing the front-end

We audited the existing Drizly experience to discover opportunities for consolidation, and to demonstrate how our work would provide value for our client partners.

Applying atomic design principles

We worked by defining and building atomic components and styles first, then combining those atoms into more complex molecular components. This helped us to build a design system that can be easily maintained and updated.
